Coverage, layer by layer
Structural aluminum frame
Posts, beams, rafters, and louver blades are marine-grade aluminum carrying a lifetime manufacturer structural warranty. They won't rust, rot, or structurally fail for as long as you own the structure.
Powder-coat finish
The baked-on powder-coat finish is warranted for 25 years against fading, chalking, peeling, blistering, and corrosion â so it keeps its color and looks through full California sun.
Workmanship & installation
Everything our crews build â footings, framing connections, flashing, and the water-tightness of solid covers â is covered by our own 20-year workmanship warranty.
Motors, sensors & electronics
Louver drive motors, rain/sun/wind sensors, roller-shade motors, and integrated lighting controls are covered for 20 years â parts and labor, backed by us rather than passed to a third party.

A few common-sense exclusions
- Damage from misuse, accidents, or alterations made by others after installation
- Weather events beyond the engineered wind and load ratings for your structure
- Normal wear on consumable items such as light bulbs and remote batteries
- Finish damage caused by abrasive cleaners or a lack of basic rinse-and-clean maintenance
- Issues originating from pre-existing structural or drainage problems on the attaching home
Warranty questions, answered
Is the warranty transferable if I sell my home?
Yes. Our coverage transfers to the next homeowner, which is a genuine selling point when you list. The new owner just contacts us with the property address and original install date.
What does a 'lifetime' frame warranty actually mean?
The structural aluminum frame carries a lifetime manufacturer warranty against rust, rot, and structural failure for as long as you own the structure. Our separate 20-year workmanship warranty covers how that frame is installed.
Are the motors and electronics covered, or just the frame?
Both. Louver motors, sensors, roller-shade motors, and lighting controls are covered for 20 years â parts and labor â through us, so you have one point of contact if anything needs attention.
Do I have to register or maintain anything?
We register your coverage for you at the final walkthrough. To keep the finish warranty valid, simply rinse the frame periodically and avoid abrasive cleaners. That's the extent of the upkeep.
What isn't covered?
Damage from misuse or unauthorized alterations, weather beyond your structure's engineered ratings, and normal wear on consumables like bulbs and batteries. Your full written terms are included with your project documents.
