California Pergolas is a licensed outdoor-living company built around a simple idea: your backyard should be a room you actually use. We design and build custom pergolas, motorized louvered roofs, aluminum and insulated patio covers, roller shades, sunrooms, and four-season rooms for homes across the Bay Area and Northern California.

We started the company to do this one thing well. Too many outdoor projects get handed off to a rotating cast of subcontractors, and the homeowner is left chasing answers. We kept it in-house instead — the same team designs your space, engineers it for California sun and wind, pulls the permits, and installs it, then stands behind it for decades.

Every project begins with how you want to live outside: morning coffee in the shade, dinners under the stars, a poolside lounge, or a bright room you can use in January. From there we handle the design, the drawings, the setbacks and permits, and the build — so the process feels straightforward from the first conversation to the final walkthrough.
